All mentions of "SoktDeer" refer to this instance of SoktDeer, and may not apply to other instances of SoktDeer.

By creating or using an account, you are agreeing to these GUIDELINES.

By using SoktDeer, you agree to
- Refrain from spamming. This includes, but is not limited to, sending large walls of illegible text and sending messages in rapid succession.
- Refrain from creating automated accounts or connecting to the server with an automated script, unless given explicit permission from the instance's System Administrator.
- Refrain from disclosing personal information of others, whether they are a user of SoktDeer or not.
- Refrain from harassing others, whether they are a user of SoktDeer or not.
- Refrain from racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or ableism.
- Refrain from using discriminatory language.
- Refrain from posting illicit content on SoktDeer. This includes, but is not limited to, pirated media, pornographic material of minors, and classified government documents.
- Refrain from posting inappropriate content on SoktDeer.
- Refrain from posting malicious content on SoktDeer.
- Refrain from threatening the lives of others or yourself.
- Refrain from distributing invitation codes, unless given explicit permission from the instance's System Administrator.
- Refrain from attempting to evade account bans.
- Refrain from attempting to gain access to accounts are not your own.

By using SoktDeer, you also agree that
- You are at or above the age of 13 years old. If the digital age of consent differs within your jurisdiction, your jurisdiction's age requirements supersede our own.
- Your account information, including your hashed and salted password, will be stored on our servers.
- These guidelines may be updated at any time.
- Notice of updates to these guidelines will be provided using the "Inbox" feature.
- Moderators reserve the right to take action upon an account for any reason they deem fit.
- You reserve the right to submit a ban appeal to the instance's System Administrator.
- You reserve the right to request an account deletion by contacting the instance's System Administrator. - You may also delete your account within some clients.

You are permitted to create alternative clients for SoktDeer, provided that they do not break the provided guidelines or aid in breaking the provided guidelines.
Clients must not send sensitive user data to a third party.
Additionally, client recommendations are provided at https://soktdeer.com/client_rec.html. These are only recommendations. Adhering to them them is not required.
