Client Recommendations

Please keep in mind that these are only recommendations, and you will not be punished for not abiding with these recommendations.
You may be asked to comply with these recommendations, however it is not required.

Registration & guidelines
- If the client includes the Registration option, provide a link to the GUIDELINES.
- The link to the GUIDELINES must be represented properly. It should be clear that it is a clickable link.
- Additionally, do not provide an alternative form of the GUIDELINES, as it may become out of date or misrepresent the official guidelines.

Messages
- Respect message edits and deletion.

Users
- Do not hide specific users or messages from specific users.
- This does not include "blocking" features, where a user of a client may choose to hide a user or their messages.

Inbox
- Include the "Inbox" feature.

General
- Ensure that your client is not vulnerable to XSS.
